Rangers' Coaching Dilemma: Should They Fire Laviolette? 

Hey there! I just read that piece about the Rangers and their coaching situation with Peter Laviolette. It's such a tough spot for the team right now. They had high hopes coming into the season, and now it feels like everything is unraveling. I totally agree that firing Laviolette might not be the solution. The issues run deeper than just the coaching staff.

The Rangers have a lot of talent, but if the defensive group is struggling and there's off-ice drama, a new coach might not fix those problems overnight. Plus, the market for a replacement doesn't look promising. I mean, who would they realistically bring in that could turn things around?

I think they should give Laviolette a bit more time to see if he can get the team back on track. If they can stabilize things and maybe make some smart moves at the trade deadline, they could still salvage the season. But if they do decide to make a change, Mike Sullivan would be an interesting option if he becomes available. His track record speaks for itself, and he could really bring some stability to the Rangers.
