It's always exciting to dive into the strategies of teams like the Rangers, especially when it comes to their power play. Alexis Lafreniere has shown so much potential, and I think giving him a shot on the top unit could really pay off. The Rangers have a solid power play, but tweaking it to include a player like Lafreniere could add a new dynamic that defenses might struggle to handle.

I understand the hesitation to mess with a successful formula, but sometimes a little shake-up can lead to great things. Lafreniere's ability to shoot from the right side as a left-handed player could create more scoring opportunities and keep the opposing teams guessing. Plus, with his recent extension, it’s clear the Rangers believe in his future contributions.

That said, I also see the argument for keeping Zibanejad in the mix. His shot is a game-changer, and taking him off could disrupt the flow. It’s a tough call for Coach Laviolette, but I think rotating Lafreniere in could be a smart move to develop his game further while also potentially boosting the power play's effectiveness. The season is still young, and experimenting now could lead to a more potent attack come playoff time. What do you think? Should they take the risk or stick with what’s working?
