Wow, what a game! The Norfolk Admirals really had a rollercoaster of a match against the Trois-Rivières Lions. It’s always tough to see a team lose after leading for most of the game, especially when they had a solid 3-1 lead going into the third period. The intensity in the first two periods was palpable, and it looked like the Admirals were in control.
But that third period comeback by the Lions was something else! Metis Roelens really stepped up, scoring two quick goals to shift the momentum. It’s moments like these that remind us why we love hockey—the unpredictability and the sheer thrill of a comeback.
I think the Admirals need to work on closing out games like this. Turnovers in critical moments can be devastating, and it’s a lesson learned for them. They have the talent, but they need to maintain their focus until the final buzzer.
What do you think? Do you believe the Admirals can bounce back from this, or will this loss linger in their minds?
