Hey there! I just read about the New York Islanders' recent surge, and I have to say, it's exciting to see them finally clicking after such a rocky start to the season. Winning three games in a row, especially against tough teams like the Bruins and Golden Knights, shows they have the potential to turn things around.

I think the key for them is the chemistry developing in their top six. Players like Bo Horvat and Anders Lee stepping up is crucial. If they can maintain that offensive momentum, they might just have a shot at sneaking into the playoffs. But I do share the concern that they might be digging out of too deep a hole. The competition in the Metropolitan Division is fierce, and they’ll need to keep this level of play consistent.

Also, Ilya Sorokin has been a rock for them in goal. His performances can be game-changers, but they need to manage his workload carefully, especially with Varlamov out. If Marcus Hogberg can step up as a reliable backup, that could really help them down the stretch.

It’s going to be interesting to see if they can keep this momentum going. What do you think? Do you believe they can make a playoff push, or is it too late for them this season?
