Hey there! I just read about the Tampa Bay Lightning recalling Gage Goncalves from the AHL, and I have to say, I think this is a smart move. The Lightning have been struggling lately, dropping their last four games, and they definitely need a spark in their bottom six. Goncalves has shown he can produce in the AHL, being an All-Star last season and racking up six assists in just five games this year.
It's interesting to see how they’re managing the roster with Brayden Point and Erik Cernak out. Goncalves might not have found the scoresheet yet in the NHL, but sometimes it just takes a little time for players to adjust to the pace and pressure of the big league. I believe he has the potential to contribute significantly if given the right opportunities.
